Q: What is your favorite White Stripes album?
I really like The White Stripes and own all of their albums. (I like 'em all!) I just want to see which albums people like!

A: Hmmm, this is actually a tough decision. I have to say my rankings would be... 1. Elephant- This album was too epic to be anything but number one. Seven Nation Army is a classic, and is easily my favorite WS song ever. The rest of the album is well-rounded and has some really awesome ones (Girl, You Have No Faith In Medicine, Hardest Button, Ball & Biscuit)...I just listened too it over and over again for about a month. 2. Icky Thump- Wow, this new album is a keeper. It's got so many good ones, that really build on the White Stripes formula. It's a great return to the original guitar+drums formula of early WS, and really just makes me happy. 3. Get Behind Me Satan- Some people really don't like this album. I still don't see how that could dislike it. I love the instrumentation, and I thought it was awesome. It was a nice reprieve from straight garage-rock on every single one of their albums. Whew...

Q: what is the best white stripes album and song (in your opinion?)?
What do you think is the best White Stripes album and/or song? And why?

A: Seven Nation Army. It's just the best. It always makes me want to dance and gets me in the mood. What mood? It always changes when I listen to this song, that's how good it is...

Q: Question for all you White Stripes fans.... which album is the best?
I have recently started listening to Jack White's solo stuff... and I love how much of it is kind of "old timey/ folk" music. Considering that which White Stripes album should I try out. I have never really listened to much of there stuff... but I was really impressed with Jack White so yeah what do you guys suggest?

A: Definitely "Elephant", but anything by them is good stuff. You should also check out Jack White's latest band The Raconteurs.

A: Amazon has it for eleven bucks which is a little bit lower than if you went to c.d. store... their first one is awesome... its Jack's best guitar album.... its like stripped down Led Zepplin.

Q: What do you think of the new White Stripes album?
Personally i love it! i worship it.. *drools*..so good.. my favourite songs are Icky Thump (of course!) You don't know what love is Conquest Broke Bone Little Cream Soda Catch Hell Blues Rag and Bone.. basically all of the album.. best 20 dollars i've spent. what do you think of it?

A: its so sweet as! It's a lot like some older stuff of theirs. much like, its sorta sounding like their title album.

A: Her name is Holly Golightly, a britsh singer-songwriter from the band Three Headcoats and has also released albums of her won.

Q: Is there anywhere that I can download The White Stripes new album, "Icky Thump"?
My husband is in LOVE with The White Stripes and their new album doesn't come out until June 19. If I can find some of the tracks, even if they are live, I can make him a CD. He would so love that. Please help me?

A: the title single is available on itunes for a buck. the white stripes have been hosed before with their albums getting leaked, so supposedly they have this one so tight under wraps, a leak will be nearly impossible. in the meantime check out jack white's great buddy and former band mate dan john miller's band called Blanche..... they released a 5 song EP last winter called What this Town Needs. their new album Little Amber Bottles should be coming out soon as well. dan and jack played together in 2 bands.
