I really love the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and I can sing most of their songs, though not very well, but I'd like to learn how to play some of their stuff on the guitar too. Just tell me an easy song to play and I'll look up the tabs.

A: The first songs I learned to play by them were Mellowship Slinky in B Major and Suck My Kiss, and I Could have Lied and Breaking the Girl are both are pretty easy. Try Under the bridge and My Friends when you get into it a little bit. When it comes to Chili Peppers songs, it's not really the actually notes or chords that are difficult, its getting that syncopated, Hendrix-style rythm that Frusciante (or Navarro, or any of the numerous guitarists) uses when you're playing the old stuff. Most important thing with RHCP is the bounce to all the songs, so listen hard and try to get it down, and you'll be fine.

So my thought was that since they had other guest speakers on there who either had a song on the game, you had to battle against, or you just played with when they came to play with you. But the RHCP drummer was neither of those things.

Looking at Chad Smith's Wikipedia entry (also below), it mentions that he works with Joe Satriani, who has a song in the game("Satch Boogie"). There's a possibility that he's there to play with Joe. A: Lucky brat!!! i love rhcp seen them too they are great! if you want to be front row on the stage i would advise you to get there as early as possable if mars volta is opening for them wait untill they clear and run like hell to get up there!

A: No doubt these are both amazing bands. But in my opinion the edge goes to ratm slightly and because of the combination of Tom Morrellos Amazing guitar effects and Zack De La Rosa's raping/singing. Every one of ratm songs are as good as one another.
