Q: Can a pre-sale for Metallica tickets sell out the event?
Metallica tickets are on pre-sale today (09/08/08) but only for American Express holders and (I believe) members of the Metallica fan-club (MetClub). Since I don't hold either an AmEx card nor MetClub membership, I am not able to buy these tickets today. But my question is whether this pre-sale can actually sell out the whole event (at Verizon Center) or do the organizers allocate only a portion of the tickets for the pre-sale and sell the rest when the official sale begins. If it is the latter choice, then I might be able to get floor tickets. I just don't believe it would be fair to just sell everything to AmEx or MetClub members and screw the rest of the people. And please, stick to the question. Don't answer like a 10-year old with "Metallica sucks" or "Blah blah blah corporate, blah blah greedy blah blah napster".

A: Answer to the question of can they sell out the event.. No, I am in Michigan and have gotten both the American Express and my WRIF RADIO (local mich radio station ) and got very screwed on my seats. Presale tickets from what I was told only have so many reserved tickets. Right now for this whole presale metallica tickets thing is very screwed up. Not only did i pay to much I didn't even get the free cd they ask for. I am an american express card holder and metclub member. No one can help me on this crazy matter. My advice to you is to wait until they go on sale. In Michigan at this time is a big problem going on with the presale crap. Basically what I am saying is the presale does not have all the tickets for the concert. I promise you that one. Wanted main floor and got stuck w/ seating. Now I looked it up and could get main floor like I wanted. Sucks for me and good luck to you..

Q: I will be in Munich for one night (I think a Friday), can anyone recommend a good metal club?
In an ideal world, I'm talking fairly mainstream metal - Metallica, Disturbed, Sepultura, MachineHead (some of the more well-known bands that I could think of). To be honest, even 80's "hair" metal would do. I'm just not big on the whole electro-goth thing. Any input gratefully received!

A: I know one Metal club in munich. "Titty Twister" It´s in the so called "Kunstpark Ost" near the railway station "Ostbahnhof" U can go there with public means of transport. (Just go out of the railway station and follow the other people). At the "Kunstpark Ost" are different Club´s and bar´s. I can´t just remember, if friday or saturday was a good day.

Q: Could anyone recommend a metal/rock club or pub in London for Saturday nights?
I'm going to London for the weekend and am looking for a good club to visit on a saturday night. I'm staying in Euston and dont want to travel to far as I'm not to familiar with London (however I do know how to ride the underground). most places I have looked seem to be for Friday nights but I already have plans for them. I dont mind if it is a club or a pub just somewhere with a good atmosphere and some metal music i.e. metallica, pantera, slayer etc.. can anyone help? thanks

I would wait until she was done dancing, and then I would ask her the name/artist of the song, so I could get it myself. I've discovered alot of good tunes that way! POLL; Am I the only one? I hate Lars Ulrich, does anyone else. Or can you convince me to like him. Q: What do you think of the new Linkin park song "What I've Done"?
I heard it on the radio, and i hated it..sounded pop. I watched the video and heard a studio version quality of the song, and I am impressed by how much they have progressed thanks to rick rubin.. I cant wait to see what Rick Rubin does for Metallica. BTW, Linkin Park's song QWERTY is ten times better than their first official single. QWERTY was released to their fan club i think. look the song up on youtube, it is very raw.

A: i love it-- maybe u don't like it cuz this is a little softer than alot of older songs- i'm a fan and like most songs & i love Fort Minor too-- i think some people are stuck on In The End & other favorites so we have to be open to the new stuff.....i just heard Qwerty (never heard of it till i read this) it's rough but i like the lyrics......hope i don't have to wait till may 14th to hear other tracks on it

To convince Metallica to perform at our local 4H Club picnic in Oslo, Minnesota this summer??

A: I have never heard of Metallica playing at a 4H Show. But I would love it. It would be very hard. The one guy is right. If you could get them convinced that its community servive, they might do it. You might need to pay for some stuff though.

Q: Which tunes will ALWAYS get you out on the dancefloor?
If I'm out raving, then any of the early 1990's rave/house classics will get me bouncing every time - Alison Limerick's 'Where Love Lives' and A Guy Called Gerald's 'Voodoo Ray' being particular favourites. If I'm in a rock club, then tunes like Metallica's 'Enter Sandman', or Green Day's 'Welcome To Paradise' usually do the trick... What about you lot? :)
