Does anyone have any idea of how much the tickets will be for the guns n roses tour of australia (sydney and melbourne) in june of this year? I can't find it anywhere. They don't go on sale until late april, but i want to know how much.

I ask this because I went to a Velvet Revolver concert last night and I noticed that the crowd (which included LOTS of ppl under 30) went apeshitz when they played Ol' Guns N Roses songs...The GNR songs got more response then the VR songs

i was just wondering if there is anyone out there who bought tickets to see gnr, and axl rose didnt show up? there has been alot of talk about how he doesnt show up for half of his shows. my husband has tickets to go see them in 3 weeks. and also are the concerts good and how long aprox. did it last.
A: He is a bit famous for this, unfortunately. Four years ago Guns 'n' Roses had a show at GM Place in Vancouver and, when he didn't show up, the crowd rioted. As I recall, his PR firm blamed it on bad weather flying up from Los Angeles. But this wasn't the first example of his tantruming out of a show.
They're playing a show here in Edmonton at the beginning of December, and I'm quite glad that I won't be right next door this time, just in case.

Vollyball chick:- clearly a GNR fan. Yep, smoking is his freedom, and you say we should respect his freedom. Therefore should he not respect the freedom of non-smokers and state publically and with all the ticket sales promo's that he will be smoking so that those you object, can stay away at their choice. As a fan all you are saying is, he is god, f;ck everyone else.
For goodness sake, you little kids are missing the whole point. It's not about his right to smoke, it's all about him being a big rock and roll rebel, and that just leaves me cold. It makes me see him for what he is, an ignorant little boy trying to be so clever and rebelious, oh how cool!!! I'm just so great. A: I don't think he's really hurting anyone that much with second hand smoke considering he's on a stage. The most dangerous amount of second hand smoke non-smokers are going to breath in are going to be from the fans who insist on hiding lit cigarettes from security during the show (this happens at EVERY SHOW). I think he has a bit of an arrogant attitude about it but if he pays 50 pounds a night and continues to smoke without having to do much more than pay a bullsh*t ticket .. then the ban was pretty much for nothing.
Also I don't agree with the idea that smoking is freedom... If you are in an enclosed space with non-smokers, then you have ALL freedom to smoke AWAY from them as they also have the freedom NOT breathe in cigarette smoke

A: No I don't. While Touts are a problem, not everyone has a mobile phone capable of displaying pictures. Are you saying the image is sent via MMS, in which case there are a few phones on the market (including the iPhone) that don't support. Even then some networks demand MMS is activated with them before MMS's can be received. Also it would be easy to bluetooth/to a pc and copy. Then what happens if the barcode on the screen won't scan (a problem on the FTR buses in York - they have abandoned the mobile ticketing now IIRC)

A: Aerosmith definitely are still touring, dunno about Bowie, and the Chillis will probably be soon? I'd say look up their fansites or google or ticket sites.
The original Guns 'n' Roses are long gone, but Axl Rose and his bandmates might be still touring? There are three members of Guns 'n' Roses in Velvet Revolver, though, who are most definitely still touring, if you want a fix. :D

Was introduced to rock music by some friends with there Guns n Roses music on there walkman a few years ago...then to Metallica.Metallica are playing in London this summer. Wow. I got myself a ticket from a very famous auction site at double its original price. :(
