Q: question about the ac/dc fan club?
is it worth joining the fan club? i want tickets to the shows and there is a set allocation for fan club members but they go on sale at the same time as regular tickets. surely everyone in the ac/dc fan club is gonna be buying tickets and as there is no mention of what the allocation for tickets is it cant be worked out statistically. what do you reckon

A: usually bands reserve the front sections for their fanclubs..so even if they go on sale along with the general public, you will be getting better seats. if its a band you love and its worth it to you to get a chance to get close, then its worth being a member. however, i'm a member of the pearl jam fan club and its sometimes nearly impossible to get these tickets cause they usually sell out in seconds. but you do get other cool stuff by joining...

Q: Is the Artemis rock club in Zante still there?
I went every night when on my hols a few years a go.Fantastic rock ie AC/DC,Led Zep+Black Sabath etc

A: The only rock club in Laganas and it's Class! Was still there in June 2006.

Q: What did you get for Xmas?
I've never been happier in my life. I got a razor, golf clubs, AC/DC tickets, clothes from American Eagle, and 2 pairs of Converse (green and grey). You? Energy drinks would have been an awesome idea for me. But the AC/DC tickets are going to make me forget.

Q: What's the difference between Classic Rock and Classic Hits?
To me, Classic Rock is a rock station that plays the old AOL format. Groups like AC/DC, Aerosmith, The Eagles, and Bad. Co. Classic Hits are the top 40 tunes from the 70's and 80's. Culture Club, Duran Duran, The Cars...ect. What do you think is better? Classic Rock or Classic Hits?

A: I personally like the classic hits better. I tend to listen to what's popular.

Q: Which songs are currently popular in Rock bars or rock clubs these days?
When I was going to rock bars during the late eighties and early nineties songs by AC/DC, the cult, or even older songs like Sympathy for the devil by the Rolling Stones were popular. Which songs by which groups are now popular.

A: When I go to a bar and they actually have rock music playing - its either live music or a jukebox that plays the music that you just listed there. Either that or lots of Hair and Nu Metal. Drunk people shouting along to "Shot through the heart" seems to be pretty popular as well. That's why I tend to stick to bars and venues that have live music.

Q: Any pubs play rock songs in Malaysia?
I don't like club hitz, raps and stuffs, so I was wondering whether are there any rock pubs in Malaysia, where they play pub rock, like AC/DC. U know in the movies, we always see the pubs in the middle of the desert then the bikers all fight there..

A: got 1 in KK. called Shenanigans... a live band but still play rock songs... in Labuan also. the place called Jupiter... and the band always sing the Metallica songs...

Q: does anyone knwo the name of the remix of get ur freak on featured in the movie the rundown?
it is the one in the club scene in the beginning. sound like ac/dc is mixed in? or do u know wher i can download it,

A: It actually is AC/DC. Try typing this in the search : Get Ur Freak On (AC/DC remix) Missy Elliot. Ive seachered for it too but I couldnt find it. Hope u can. P.S. The Rock is ssooooo hot!!!! :)

Q: Is itunes,walmart, and illegal selling of music (limewire) ruining the music industry???
With the announcment that ac/dc new album will only be sold at walmart and sams club (Just like the Eagles album). and itunes selling tracks at 99 cents. Plus illegal downloading of music. How does this hurt the music indistury,and the artist involved??

A: I dont think its fair that Walmart gets exclusive rights to cds. I believe thats one way of hurting other stores like FYE and Amazon. Are sources like Limewire hurting record companies,probably but let me ask this. In the past when we all got out music via cds, cassettes etc, how many times have you paid $15 for a cd and it only had 1 or 2 songs that you likes while the rest was just filler? If you do that math you paid $7.50 for a song.

Q: Need good gym music recommendations?
I need to refresh my playlist with some good, motivating, 'hardcore' gym music. I don't like anything too hard core or too poppy/fluffy (i.e. brittany), but the heavy stuff, (e.g. metallica, system of a down . . . ) tends to make for good inspiration. Same with certain DJs and club stuff. Some of my current tracks include Kid Rock, metallica, SOAD, AC/DC, pearl jam, benny benassi, dj tiesto, rage,jay z, kanye west, j timberlake . . to give a flavor. I'm all over the place, just want something that's gonna get my heart pumping and motivate me. Even if I named someone above I may not have a really good track, so let 'em rip. Best recs to fill my playlist gets my vote. Thanks!

A: No no no its not true. Anyone can edit that page babe, and people are putting really off the wall bands on there. The only correct place you are going to find the bands is at http://www.ozzfest.com. They havent finalized the list yet. The only official band so far is Ozzy. Alice in Chains and Marilyn Manson are heavily rumored to be there, but its not official.

A: No official line up has been posted. With the show being free I really do not see Metallica doing it. Alice In Chains have pulled out of Ozzfest already. Ozzy is the only confirmed, and you can bet that Black Label Society will be there. About the only other name that seems to be a possibility to the 2007 line up is Hell Ya. From Sharons official post there is no big name that will do the entire tour, but she is hopeing a few big names will do a day or two. Just keep checking ozzfest.com. The info was supposed to be out last week.
