A: i did. and i RARELY ever buy cd's and almost never buy them on the release date... i did in this case because i personally think ac/dc is probably the best rock band on the planet right now, i think they were remarkably smart in cutting the deal they got with wal-mart and i was really curious about how 8 years may have improved on a sound that was nearly perfected in 1976. so far, ive not been let down. i like it...but i kinda' figured i would...and i cant wait till saturday when i take it to my guitar guru to hear his opinion. now playing:war machine - ac/dc

Q: When is the new AC/DC album coming out this year?
I looked at the AC/DC official site and it said they were recording a new album sometime this year, but whens it coming out? Also if any details of a tour have come out yet such as what cities they will be going to please add these to (Im hoping they come to my city as it will probably be there last tour and I wasnt born for any of the others and I would love to see them live).

A: album will be out in late 2008. There are no details of a tour yet for when it is happening or where it will go but the cities they will play are some cities with over a million people in North America, Europe, Asia and maybe South America and if you do not live in any city shown on the list you could always go to a show close to you if one comes.

Q: does anyone know when the new ac/dc album is going to be released?
does anyone know when the new ac/dc album is going to be released? what is it called? any other info on it?

A: I've read on some fan sites that they are back in the studio for a 2007 album, but most of what I've heard is from individual people. There are credible reports such as a few interviews that say they are ready to record. I'll definitely go to the tour if they have one, it might be their last one.

Q: Is the new AC/DC album, Black Ice, worth buying after all these years of not hearing from these awesome guys?
i just want to know because I LOVE AC/DC!!!!!

A: Its an absolutely brilliant album, its very fresh sounding whilst still sounding like AC/DC, really high energy too. A few highlights of the album are, Rock n Roll Dream (takes a while to build up though), skies on fire, rock n roll train, war machine, money made and black ice. It is my favorite Brian era album. I think it is being released on vinyl as well soon.

Q: The new AC/DC album what d'you think ?
Well what's the verdict.I came home in the car fae work wi AC/DC being lauded on radio 2,this is the band of my youth who are with me always. They were always cheeky, dirty schoolboy Rock n Roll.My dad thought they were awful, now he talks like they're as much establishment as Clapton or something,,it's AC/DC man !!!! Well I think the album's fine but it's definetly feeding from the same pool as Ballbreaker and Stiff Upper Lip,it's almost safe but there enough bluesy groove and AC/DC attitude to make it worth listening to. It's their back catalogue and my teenage years that are the problem.I discovered them at 13,that meant 'Highway To Hell','Back In Black',well I discovered them roundabout when 'Flick of The Switch' came out. There is no way that anything they could produce the now could even hope to stand in the shade of Highway or Powerage (Oh aye I'm a Bon Scott man). Clearly the pinnacle is Highway To Hell/Back In Black there is no possible way to choose between them though if I was only allowed one it'd be Highway To Hell so I suppose I am rating as the best album with Black and photofinish second. Powerage a definite next.I mean the progression from High Voltage through Dirty Deeds and Let There Be Rock is steady.Highway is Chuck Berry wi some good sulph up his nose and that's carried through Deeds. You get to Let There Be Rock and it's becoming more hard rock than rock n roll, more riffs and less 12 bar blues. They must have gone off and allowed their recent experiences to settle and ferment because the jump to Powerage is a leap like an olympian couldnt make.Powerage is where they begin to show their unique songwriting ability, these are crafted songs rather than tunes and a perfect precursor to Highway.Powerage is AC/DC's most underated album,a true classic in it's own right. Almost as underated is For Those About To Rock !!,,Fick of the Switch and Fly on the Wall being the last true AC/DC albums though Razor's Edge almost makes it. Ok though where do you rate the new album ???

A: It's good. I love AC/DC...my ultimate fave band of all times...also a band of my youth! Powerage was great as you mentioned. I like Decibel on the new album the best. We actually got out all our AC/DC CD's the other day and listened to all of them. We have determined (once again) that Bon Scott was it man! We love Johnson, but Scott was IT!

Q: AC/DC album?
Does anyone know when the much anticipated new AC/DC album will be released? I'm dying to know.

A: angus quote, "i'm bloody sick of people accusing us of making the same record 12 times. the truth is, we've made the same album 13 times." can't wait. ac/dc rock
